Terms and Conditions
Making a Booking
Bookings made more than eight weeks before departure must be accompanied by a deposit of 20%. Bookings made within eight weeks of departure must be accompanied by full payment. A damage deposit of £200 should be sent with the deposit. This cheque will be cashed and returned to you after the booking has been completed providing no damage has been made to the property. The minimum age to make a booking is 21.
On Receipt of Deposit
We will make the necessary reservation
and your deposit is accepted as part payment on the agreed costs of the
booking and is credited to your account. The contract exists between us
and from the point of confirmation over the phone and by us giving you
a confirmation/booking number
Late bookings
All bookings made within 8 weeks of departure
are confirmed as soon as a verbal confirmation is given over the telephone.
Full payment for the booking, must be made at the time of booking. If
payment is not made immediately your booking may be cancelled and cancellation
charges may be made.
If you alter
your booking
Any minor amendments to your booking, which
do not involve change of departure date or accommodation, but which require
a new confirmation invoice may incur a small standard administration fee
of £15. Any changes of passengers to the party are subject to forfeit
of deposits, depending upon the circumstances.
When you pay the balance
The balance of your booking is set on your
invoice and should be paid within 8 weeks of departure. If the full balance
is not paid 6 weeks before departure, we reserve the right to cancel the
booking without notice, retain the deposit and seek reimbursement for
any additional loss we have incurred.
If you are forced to
cancel your holiday
You or any member of your party may cancel
your booking, or part of it, once it has been confirmed but the instructions
will only be valid in writing. Your written instructions should go to
Murcia Villas La Torre, by email, fax or post.
Force Majeure
Except where otherwise stated in these
booking conditions, we regret we cannot take responsibility, any liability
or pay any compensation where performance or prompt performance of our
contractural obligations is prevented or affected due to circumstances
amounting to Force Majeure. In these booking conditions Force Majeure
means any event which we or the supplier of the services in question could
not, even with all due care, avoid. Such events may include war, threat
of war, civil strife, natural or nuclear disaster, industrial dispute,
terrorist activity, fire, adverse weather conditions, unforeseen local
building or roadworks, unavoidable technical problems with transport and
all similar circumstances beyond our control.
Passports and Visas
A standard 10 year passport is required,
valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned return date.
Insurance
As a condition of your booking you are
required to take out comprehensive holiday insurance.
If you have a problem
In the unlikely event of there being something
not to your liking whilst you are on holiday, you must report this immediately to Murcia Villas La Torre. We can be contacted on the following numbers (0034) 699 568 062, (0034) 620 928 391 Chris and Jane Whent respectively. Reporting your problem will
give us the opportunity to correct the matter so that it does not spoil
your enjoyment of your holiday. If you fail to follow this simple procedure
we will have been deprived of the opportunity to rectify your complaint
whilst you were on holiday and this may effect your rights under this
contract. If the matter cannot be rectified immediately, details of your
complaint should be submitted to our office not later than 28 days after
your date of return. We will not accept liability in respect of claims
received outside this period. Disputes arising out of, or in connection
with this contract that cannot be amicably settled may, if you wish, be
referred to arbitration.
Arrivals and Departures
Your accommodation will be cleaned and
ready for you to move into from 4pm on the day of your arrival. You
must vacate the property and return the keys to the office by 10am on
the day of your departure in order to give our cleaners good time to prepare
the property for the next guest. If you would like to store your luggage
on either the day of arrival or departure we would be happy to keep your
luggage in our office.
Damage Deposit
A damage deposit will be held against any
accidents that may occur during your stay. Most accidents can be quickly
and easily repaired by our cleaners and therefore we do reserve the right
to charge you for an excessive amount of time required to clean the villa
after you leave. Each property has had a full inventory taken prior to
your arrival and an assessment of the time it will take to clean the property.
Whilst we do not expect you to clean the house from top to bottom charges
will be made if the house is excessively dirty. |
